How To Play Wordle
Wordle is a browser-based word guessing game that is currently owned by the New York Times Games. It pits players against a five-letter English word that they need to guess every day. In order to play, fans of word games just need to head to the website and choose a starting Wordle word.

Once a good five-letter Wordle word is chosen, type it into the site and press enter. This will be the player’s first guess, and the letters will flip colors depending on whether they are correct or not.
Green letters are correct Gray letters are wrong Yellow letters are right but in the wrong place in the word.
Given these clues, players have six total guesses to get to the correct word of the day. Answers can be just about any five-letter English word, but the game tends to favor Americanized spellings of words. Wordle words also can contain duplicated letters, and the answer cannot be one of the many Wordle words censored by the New York Times. Puzzles reset daily at midnight local time.
After puzzles are complete every day, players get access to the Wordle menu. This is where the spoiler-free share button is; it allows players to copy and share the colors of their board without spoiling the answer or any of their guesses. The menu also has the player’s Wordle stats, like guess distribution and win streak.
