How To Play Wordle
Wordle is a fairly simple word puzzle game. It is browser based, so players can play it on just about any device that can connect to the internet. While there are a ton of Wordle clones and niche copycats, the original is now hosted on the New York Times Games website. This is the Wordle that all hints, answers, and rules will be about in this article.

Choose a starting word. It must be five letters long, a real English word, and not one of the offensive words cut from Wordle by the New York Times. It should have a variety of letters that include several commonly-used letters in Wordle puzzles. Type the chosen word into the site and press enter. The letters will then change color based on whether they are correct or not.
Green letters are correct and in the right spot in the word. Yellow letters are correct but in the wrong spot in the word. Gray letters are incorrect and won’t appear in the puzzle.
Players have six total guesses to get to the right word. Whether the puzzle was completed successfully or not, players will then get to see the Wordle menu. It will have the spoiler-free share button that copies the colors of the boxes from their board without spoiling the letters of their guesses. The menu will also have the player’s Wordle stats from that device and browser. These include things like the number of total puzzles completed and number of won puzzles.
