Head to the New York Times Games website for Wordle. Choose a starting Wordle word. This should be five letters long, a real English word, and not one of the offensive words censored by the NYTs Game when they acquired it in February 2022. Type the starting Wordle word into the website, and press enter. The letters of the word will change color to give the player some clues as to the real answer. Green letters are right, gray are wrong, and yellow letters are right but in the wrong place in the word. Given these clues, players have a total of six guesses to get to the answer before they lose that day’s puzzle. Puzzle reset daily at 12:00 AM local time.
As long as players use the same browser and device every time, they will also be able to see their Wordle stats daily. This will include win streaks, win percentage, total games played, and more. This stats menu is also where players can find the Share button.
