How to Play Wordle

Head to the New York Times official games section to start playing Wordle.

Choose a solid starting word and then enter the word into Wordle to see the results. The letter tiles will change colors depending on how close players are to the solution. If the tile turns green, that means the letter is in the word and the correct spot. If the tile turns yellow, the letter is not in the correct spot, but it’s still part of the Wordle answer. And lastly, if the tile turns gray, the chosen letter is not in the answer and should not be used again.
